My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is my cellphone because it is very functional and useful. A cellphone has everything! I can make a call, send text messages, take pictures, use social networks and keep information or files. 

I remember that I received my first cellphone when I was 10 years old in my birthday. It wasn't technological but it had all the necessary for a child of that age. For example, it had games and I could received phone calls from my mom and my dad. These were basic functions. 

At present I have a cellphone more technological than my first cellphone. I use it to call my mom and friends, but I don't do it with frequency because I don't like talk by cellphone. Also, and with more frequency, I use it when I want to use social networks as Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook and Pinterest. Besides, my cellphone is very useful when I don't know where I am because I can use GPS and Google Maps.

   Others functions of my cellphone that I use are camera, calculator, text messages, games like Candy Crush -This is my favorite game and when I am using my cellphone always I am playing- and apps with service of delivery. 

   I use my cellphone all day long, but not all day. For example, I use it if I have an emergency, if I am bored, if i need communicate with another person or if I need search information on Internet. I try to not use it when I am talking with someone and obviously when I go to sleep. 

A life without cellphones or without technologies would be strange because we are used to use it for everything. Technologies make our life easier, that's why we don't want to remove them. However, without technologies life would be more relaxed and probably we would be in physical contact with the other, expressing our feelings and emotions without the need of a screen.
